Zidoo is one of the market leaders when it comes to Android media players, providing some of the most powerful, feature rich devices with high quality support from the product support team. Their devices have always been one of the most in demand brands for those looking to stream their media online and watch their TV shows and movies using Kodi. The Zidoo X6 Pro was a great unit as we discussed in our review and the X9 is an equally impressive machine with its DVR functionality. Today Zidoo announces the pending arrival of their 2 latest products, the Zidoo X9S and the Zidoo X8.

Zidoo will be the first company to release new Android TV boxes based on the RTD1295 64bit processor. The 2 media players will have an updated ZDMC application making use of OMX HW decoding so you can watch your latest TV shows and movies with ease and with better compatibility.

The upgrades coming to the X9S will give you better HDMI recording capabilities allowing you to input 4k videos from games consoles, set-top boxes and computers etc. The X9S and X8 can compress this to 1080P 30hz.

Additional applications will come with the X9S and X8 including Zidoo Theater and NASkit just to name a couple. The X9S will be constructed of aircraft grade aluminium that will come in a space gray colour which is fingerprint resistant.

No pricing has been announced yet but we will post additional information as soon as we receive it.

Not sure between X8 and X9s, but X8 is just $109 at Geekbuying so I might go with that.
