Using the Product
We did a couple of tests to see just how good the ROG Strix B360-F Gaming board is, and we’ve categorized these into different sections.
To our surprise, the ROG Strix B360-F Gaming consumes lower power compared to higher-end motherboards of ROG. The difference is not that big, but lower consumed power is always better.
BIOS and Software
The ASUS ROG Strix B360-F Gaming motherboard has the same UEFI interface as the other latest releases of ASUS. So if you’ve used one of the new ASUS motherboards, then you should be familiar with this layout. Since we were able to test one of the new boards, we already knew how this one worked. We really like the fact that they don’t make much changes with these things.
For the software, we also appreciated the abundance of available apps to optimize our system’s performance. We found these useful and really convenient.
With the AI Suite 3, we were able to further enhance this motherboard’s performance for a better gaming experience. Its dashboard-type control panel allowed us to make slight adjustments on almost every part of our system. With that, we were able to get an excellent balance between performance, efficiency, and even cooling stability and we got all of these with just one simple and interface.
What we really liked about the ROG Strix B360-F Gaming is that it has complete cooling controls, Fan Xpert 4 with adjustable settings, as well as the UEFI BIOS. It has multiple temperature sources, a four-pin OWM/FC fan.
We were able to optimize this motherboard based on our needs and we were able to improve our gaming experience the way we wanted it to happen. Aside from that, it also comes with adjustable RGB which allowed us to adjust event its aesthetics. All in all, the ROG Strix B360-F Gaming from ASUS offers a great build quality while also delivering excellent performance.
This motherboard offers us a lot, it’s build was great and clean, plus the level of quality can be felt with its dense PCB. Aside from that, the quality of this motherboard is also of ROG-level; it comes with other specific features that make the best out of this motherboard.
While it offers quality performance, it also comes with great aesthetics. It features RGB lighting and its cyber text PCB print is not like anything you’ve ever seen before.
